My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

"Meet Big Time Tommy: A Magnificent Cat in Need of a Loving Home"

Hey there, I'm Big Time Tommy! I may have a tough exterior, but deep down, I'm just a sweet boy looking for a warm lap to call my own. I've had a rough start in life, abandoned by my previous owners and left to fend for myself. But luckily, my feeder found me and brought me inside to recover from an injury.

At 6 years young and weighing in at 10 lbs, I may not be a kitten anymore, but I still have plenty of love to give. I'm a handsome Domestic Short Hair with striking white markings, orange-boy attitude, and a playful personality. I may love to spend all day people-watching out of my window, but my energy never runs out when it comes to playtime.

I'm an extroverted social butterfly who loves being a constant companion and best friend. I'm affectionate, curious, and clever - always keeping you on your toes with my quirkiness. But I'll also be your loyal and devoted partner for life.

I must admit, I do prefer the company of humans over other animals. That's why I'm looking for a patient and understanding home that can give me the attention I crave. If you're ready for a big personality like mine, I would love to meet you and make you a part of my family. Come meet me, Big Time Tommy, and see if we're meant to be forever companions!

More about this rescue

Boyle Heights Cats is a volunteer-run organization that seeks to make spay/neuter and low cost veterinary services accessible to all community members. We train community members of Boyle Heights, Lincoln Heights, El Sereno and East Los Angeles how to TNR and monitor their pet colonies in order to stop the overpopulation of homeless cats. We believe that community members can lead the change to reduce the number of stray cats on the streets. It is our collective responsibility to care for the community cats in our neighborhoods
