My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Blitzen is a young cat with a big personality. Blitzen was surrendered to our center near Christmas with 3 other female cats from the same home. Blitzen had to be separated from the girls since none of the cats where spayed or neutered. Blitzen has since been neutered and is ready for adoption. Blitzen is a bit nervous since entering the center and it is taking some time to be able to help him come out of his shell. Blitzen enjoys the company of the human volunteers at the rescue and could be adopted out as a single cat or into a home where there are other cats. We would prefer a home with no dogs for Blitzen and probably no small children since Blitzen does tend to become overly stressed by loud noises or fast movements. Famous Fido was founded by Gloria Lissner who has been independently rescuing dogs from the death rows of kill shelters since 1975. She officially opened Famous Fido Rescue & Adoption Alliance in July 2010. All our dogs recieve the necessary vet care and treatment is never refused. Famous Fido has developed a full merchandise line, starting with our all natural dog treats to support our rescue efforts. Our products are available for purchase on our website. The mission of FFRAA is to form an alliance with similar organizations to increase community awareness, public consciences and create a No Kill Nation.
