Laney and her puppies were transferred from Bryan County Animal Control back in January as a shelter environment is no place for a nursing mom and her puppies. Laney is a sweetheart that is 100% ready for her forever home. All her puppies have already found their forever homes, and we would love for Laney to get her home as well. She can be cat tested upon request. She is currently in a living foster home where she is getting some love and attention, but would definitely love more as she is in a large outside kennel with small yard. She needs a life of love and spoiling now that she is forever retired as a mama. Laney has not been the best around small children and would do better in a home where there are older kids or none at all. We're not sure if she was mistreated by a small child before coming to us, but she has shown a dislike for them since arriving. You must fill out an application for any of our adoptable pets. Your current pets must be utd on vaccinations and on heartworm prevention. Once we review your application we will contact you regarding any questions we may have, or you may have about the adoption process.

All of our dogs have age-appropriate vaccinations, if over 6 months old are spayed or neutered, if under 6 months adopter is responsible for having that done between 6 and 10 months of age (we can offer some low cost options for you), microchipped with lifetime free membership, dewormed and will go home with a 3 to 5 day dewormer as well. Any medical conditions known are disclosed to the best of our ability.
Adults are heartworm tested and status is disclosed. Please don't let HW positive dogs deter you. Please ask us and we will gladly explain the slow kill process!
If you are out of state or out of area that is not a problem, we do offer relay transport for a small additional fee to cover health certificates required for private interstate travel and additional vetting required.
We run solely on donations and house 100 plus dogs and 10 plus horses at any given time. Please be patient but if you do not hear from us within 48 hours of submitting your application please reach out. We are human and we do get very busy sometimes. Our email is Sgequinerescue@gmail.com you can email when you put your app in or wait the 48 hours. Just know some dogs have a lot of apps so the sooner the better in those cases.
Adoption fees range from $150 to $400
We do not offer discounts of any kind. Adoption fees are set fees and not negotiable. These fees help with vetting on current and future animals we take in.
We do not offer walk through "choose a dog/puppy" type experience. We are partially foster-based, we can help with matching dogs if you have something you have in mind so feel free to call us. You can meet before adoption but that is ONLY done with approved applicants.
