My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hey guys! My name is Lasse and I'm a 1 and a half year old German Shepherd mix boy who came to the shelter in November 2023! I'm a very energetic pup who loves to play with toys and run around outside. I also like to use my strong legs to jump, so I'm hoping to find a home with a taller fence to help me stay in the yard. If you can handle a very playful and loveable boy please call the shelter to schedule a meet and greet with my friends! Thank you!

More about this shelter

The San Gabriel Valley Humane Society (SGVHS) was founded by Fannie Thompson Kessler in 1924.

For almost 100 years, the San Gabriel Valley Humane Society has provided a variety of services to the local communities. Currently we serve the cities of San Gabriel, Temple City and Duarte.

We provide food, shelter and medical care to hundreds of dogs and cats who are stray and homeless, or have been rescued from abusive conditions or relinquished by their owners.

Please consider giving one of our animals a forever home. If you’re looking to adopt a life-long furry companion, we invite you to visit our Shelter!
