My name is Chester!

Meet Chester!  Pocket Pyr alert!  He is young, just over a year old, and weighs in at about 55 pounds putting him firmly in pocket Pyr territory.

One of our foster families found him lying in the middle of the road and took him to the shelter where he was never reclaimed.  The family couldn’t resist welcoming him to SPIN!

Endearing Chester is one of a kind, just like Tigger from Winnie the Pooh. And that’s not all he has in common with the character, as he is very “bouncy!” He likes to jump and play, and is very sweet to his people.  He is wonderful with other dogs.

Chester also likes to fetch, a very uncommon trait in a Pyrenees. He is very food motivated, and is more trainable than the average Pyr.

His foster parents have been working with him on sit, fetch, and kennel training and he is learning quickly.

SPIN Pyrs are all in foster homes in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Potential adopters are asked to make travel arrangements if they live elsewhere.
