My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Allow us to introduce Scout, the marvelous medium-sized terrier with a heart full of resilience and a spirit that shines bright. This remarkable pup was discovered as a stray, and although his past may have left him a bit shy with people, his true essence is revealed when he interacts with other dogs. Scout's playful and energetic nature is simply infectious.

Scout's journey has been one of ups and downs, but his resilient spirit has never wavered. While he may be a bit unsure about connecting with humans, given the disappointments he has experienced in the past, his curiosity about forging a bond with a caring human is unmistakable. With patience, understanding, and a genuine investment of time, Scout is sure to blossom into the most loyal and loving companion.

An active home would be the perfect fit for Scout. He thrives on engaging in fun-filled activities and will undoubtedly keep you on your toes with his zest for life. Scout's ideal family would also include respectful children who understand his need for gentle and kind interactions. With proper guidance and positive reinforcement Scout will thrive in an environment that nurtures his growth and provides him with the love and stability he truly deserves.

At around 36 pounds and between 1 and 2 years old, Scout is the perfect size for both indoor snuggles and outdoor activities. His youthful energy and exuberance will bring joy and excitement to every moment spent together. With Scout by your side, not a single day will be dull or lacking in enthusiasm.

If you are ready to embark on a rewarding journey of companionship and are willing to invest the time and love needed to help Scout overcome his reservations, the he is waiting eagerly to meet you. Together, you can create a bond that will last a lifetime, filled with unforgettable moments and a love that knows no bounds. Apply to adopt Scout here! Come witness the incredible transformation that can happen when a deserving dog finds their forever home.

Additional adoption info

We do our best to get back to every potential applicant but at times we are only able to get back to the strongest applicant. We are a team of volunteers who work full time jobs and do rescue on the side.

Go meet their pets

Most of our fosters are in the San Bernardino area. Our pups are fostered in private homes so appointments must be set up prior to visiting.

More about this rescue

We are a group of friends with a heart and passion for animals, especially dogs. We are drawn to the ones with the sad stories so that we can rewrite their stories and make them happy.
Each of our dogs will be fully vetted (spay/neuter), vaccines and microchip.
An in person home check is required.
