My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

And Mr. Wiggles is ready to find a family to call his own and boy he is going to make some lucky family so so happy. Mr. Wiggles is Leona's brother - her sister was already adopted and now it is his turn
He is estimated to be 1.5 years old - a wire haired pointer mix that honestly does not realize his size - he is a big boy - all muscle at 78 pounds. He is one of the happiest dogs around and loves to play with his toys and run zoomies in the back yard. He is housebroken and crate trained. When he first came to me he would stick his whole head in the water bowl and come up and you can see in some of the pictures all the water droplets sticking to him with the way his fur is - he has since learned to drink water like a normal dog :) While he does well with other larger dogs - we think he would do best with a female dog as he wants to be dominant with male dogs and NO cats - he likes to chase them a little too much. He needs an active family - he would make an excellent hiking buddy and would love a fenced in yard to run his zoomies in. While he loves kids we do not recommend smaller children as he is still just a big puppy and does not realize he is not a 10 pound dog - he could easily knock a small child down - not on purpose but out of excitement.
His personality is amazing and he loves to throw that paw up at you like hey nice to meet you. He had no idea what a leash was when he came to the rescue and has made leaps and bounds walking on a leash now
Mr. Wiggles is neutered, current on vaccines, heartworm tested and current on heartworm prevention and flea/tick medication, dewormed, microchipped and has had a full blood panel done.
His adoption fee is $250.00
All of our fosters are in private foster homes located in western NC and upstate SC - we do not have a facility - if you are interested in meeting Mr. Wiggles - we do NOT set up a meet and greet until the adoption application has been filled out and reviewed - we do vet references - our adoption application can be found on our website www.boxerbuttsandothermutts.org We also require a home visit and do a week trial run before we will finalize any adoption
So if you are looking for an amazing boy - look no further - Mr. Wiggles is your boy - Get those applications in - he is ready to find a family to call his own

Their adoption process

1.

Submit Application

Before we will schedule any meet and greets we require our adoption application to be filled out

2.

Interview

Once the application is received and vet reference is checked, the foster would call and tell you more about the pet

3.

Home Check

If both parties feel like it could be a good fit we would schedule a meet and greet at your home

Additional adoption info

Our fees are:
$250.00 (for All Ages)
*Unless otherwise noted

All of our rescues will be spay/neutered prior to adoption, unless they are under 6 months of age or recommended by our vet. All dogs will be micro chipped prior to adoption and come with a care package at the time of adoption

Our application process is as follows:
First an application should be filled out at our website www.boxerbuttsandothermutts.org on the Foster/Adoption Application page. A vet reference check is done to verify all the animals currently in the home are UTD on vaccines as well as Heart Worm Preventatives. A phone interview will be conducted, and the final step is a home check.

Go meet their pets

All of our rescues are fostered in separate homes, as we do not have a facility yet. We do have occasional adoption events, which can be found on our website calendar at www.boxerbuttsandothermutts.org or on our Facebook page at www.Facebook.com/boxerbuttsandothermutts

More about this rescue

We are located in Western North Carolina. We do adopt out of the area with transport, although, certain dogs have to be adopted locally, and that is always stated in the description. If you adopt a puppy out of our area or choose to use a different vet, we have an application amendment to be filled out as well for the spay/neuter & vaccine contract.
