Meet Aspen! Aspen was transferred to TKW on 11/02/2023 from another shelter that was overrun with kittens. He arrived with his brother, Hawthorn, and sister, Juniper. While Juniper was quickly adopted, Aspen and Hawthorn has been with us ever since.

Aspen is a sweet, playful, and particular boy. He loves his brother but is very particular about the humans he wants affection from. He is not only gorgeous, but also extremely soft with a very cute squeaky meow.

Their adoption process

1.
Submit Application

Prospective adopters submit an application for the cat/kitten they're interested in.

2.
Approve Application

We go through and approve or deny the application.

3.
Meet the Pet

They go to the fosters home to meet the kitten and go over what paperwork will be needed if they choose to adopt.

4.
Interview

The interview is done as they are meeting the pet

5.
Sign Adoption Contract

They come back usually within a week to sign the adoption contract, pay the fee, and take the pet home!

Additional adoption info

Prospective adopters put in an application, if approved we set up a time for them to come meet the cat/kitten they're interested in and i go over other/past pets, the cat/kittens personality, where the cat/kitten will be kept, ect. After that meeting we will then set up a time for them to come sign the adoption agreement, pay the fee, and then take their new kitty home! Home checks are done via video if we believe its necessary.

The Kitten Wonderland is a cat/kitten rescue and adoption service in Bardstown, Kentucky. We got started in August 2018 in Jackson, Michigan and then relocated to Kentucky in 2020! Our mission is to save as many cats and kittens as possible, our main focus is neonatal orphaned kittens, pregnant or nursing cats, and critical care cats/kittens.
