My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Hope! Hope is a 1 year old, 40 lb. Black Mouth Cur/Hound mix looking for her forever home. Hope is a sweet girl that just wants to be loved. She is happiest when she is getting love and attention. Hope does not to spend long ahours alone an needs someone that is home often. She is curious and full of puppy energy and needs stimulation and activity to keep her happy and busy. Hope can walk on a leash, but doesn't enjoy long walks. She does love chasing balls and playing with other dogs, so a fenced yard is required. Hope has done well around big and small dogs, but does best with another playful dog that can keep up with her energy. She is crate trained and is potty trained as long as you keep her on a consistent schedule. Being still an oversized baby, Hope is looking for a home with a person who can spend time with her and teach her puppy manners. Hope has not been around cats in the home, but has ignored cats on walks. Hope needs a home without small children as she is still learning to not jump up when she is excited. Hope is very loyal and protective of her person and needs slow introductions with new people.

Hope's adoption fee is $350 and includes her spay, rabies and DHPP, and microchip. To meet Hope fill out an adoption application at www.pawprinthearts.com.

Please NOTE: PPH does not adopt dogs to homes farther than a 1 hour drive from Tampa, FL.

Go meet their pets

We hold adoption events locally. Some of our dogs are in boarding facilities others are in foster homes.

More about this rescue

We save animals from high kill county animal shelters that were ready to be euthanized, or on the high risk report. We find them foster homes locally where they have the opportunity of finding their forever home.
