Bela whose full name is Belachandra which is a beautiful flower, exactly what our Bela is. She has Tabby markings, with her pretty medium fur and fluffy tail. She is a very sweet, 5-year-old that can be a little shy at first until she gets more acquainted and would need someone with a little patience, and willing to give her time to adjust. She enjoys pets and cheek scratches.
Leaping for a high-flying feather toy and chasing after a laser light will keep this little girl busy. She would be fine as a single kitty, or with another cat that has a calm personality.

Our adoption process includes:
(1) The application;
(2) An in-person meeting with the cat and an HCN volunteer (currently mostly/all contact-free due to the pandemic); and
(3) A home visit (currently virtual in most cases due to the pandemic) to discuss safety and adjustment issues, prior to or at the time of adoption.
An adoption contract will be signed and an adoption fee collected.
