Rescued from a dangerous outdoor situation and brought to safety inside, she has flourished and adapted well to the indoor life.

Bela is very sweet, but shy, and would need someone with patience, and willing to give her time.

Leaping for a high-flying feather toy and chasing after a laser light will keep this little girl busy.

Additional adoption info

Our adoption process includes:
(1) The application;
(2) An in-person meeting with the cat and an HCN volunteer (currently mostly/all contact-free due to the pandemic); and
(3) A home visit (currently virtual in most cases due to the pandemic) to discuss safety and adjustment issues, prior to or at the time of adoption.
An adoption contract will be signed and an adoption fee collected.
