My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Midnight is a 4 yr old lab mix that weighs around 70 lbs. She is a gentle giant and loves all humans and dogs. Her favorite things to do include taking naps on the couch with her human and swimming.
Sometimes she forgets she isn’t a lap dog, so she will do best in a home without small children.
She would be happiest in a low energy home- she prefers to lounge around, go swimming, or hang out on the beach.
In her foster home, she has been exposed to cats and loves them.
She wouldn’t mind having a friend in her new home but being an only dog is fine by her!
Midnight does love to chew on things so she needs some toys, bones, or thick treats to keep her occupied.
She doesn’t need a home with a fenced yard, since she is pretty low key. She was found as a stray and was treated for heartworm. She definitely had litters in her past. Despite all her hardships she’s a very good girl. She really, really deserves the best home ever.

We have an adoption application, adoption contract, and a spay/neuter agreement for puppies too young to spay/neuter at the time of adoption. We can email you an application, once we receive it your references are checked and then we can arrange a home visit.

Go meet their pets

We arrange visits with the foster family caring for the dog/puppy. We are flexible in getting meetings arranged!

Broward County School Teachers who created this 501c3 non-profit organization in 2012, that have a deep love for animals and want to make a difference by keeping dogs and cats safe! We adopt dogs of all sizes and breeds. We provide assistance to families experiencing financial hardship that truly love their dog or cat but cannot afford to keep them due to a financial crisis and avoid them from having to surrender their pet to a high kill animal shelter. We provide foster homes to dogs and cats and help find them loving furever homes.
