My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Bobby!

Bobby came to AFRP with his brothers Peter and Greg (aka The Brady Bunch) from Hitchcock Road Animal Services. Born with eyelid agenesis and a malformed right eye (now removed), Bobby’s had a rough start—but don’t let that fool you. This little guy is full of love, charm, and mischief, ready to take on the world with a brand-new point of view—literally.

Bobby is quick to greet new people with his signature shoe sniff (it’s basically his version of a handshake) and adores being petted. He’s sweet, gentle, and loving—a total heart-stealer. He’s also incredibly bonded with his brother Peter, and the two are basically inseparable. They’re looking for a calm home together with adults or kids 10+ and could coexist with gentle pets after slow, careful introductions.

Bobby is a pro at his daily eye drops and has had cryotherapy to keep his eyes happy, so his ongoing medical needs are minimal. Apart from that, he’s all about love, playtime with Peter, and quietly judging the world from his favorite perch.

Bobby is currently in a loving foster home. A meet and greet can be scheduled once an online application has been submitted and approved by AFRP staff. Visit www.animalfriendsrescue.org to fill one out today!

Additional adoption info

Adoption fees help to cover the cost of the care the animal has received during their time with us, including spay/neuter, vaccines, microchipping, deworming, and flea treatment and basic foster care.

All potential adopters complete an application and are screened using a standardized series of questions by a trained adoption counselor. If the application and screening are satisfactory, a qualified adopter can complete a contract, pay the adoption fee and take the animal home.
