Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Greg!
Greg came to AFRP with his brothers Peter and Bobby (aka The Brady Bunch) from Hitchcock Road Animal Services. Born with eyelid agenesis, Greg and his brothers all had special eyelid reconstruction surgery, giving them a whole new perspective on life—literally.
Greg’s start in life was a little rough—he couldn’t see well at first, which made the world a scary place—but don’t let that fool you. This sweet boy is gentle, loving, and full of quiet charm. Once he feels safe, he transforms into a laid-back superstar, often found sprawling on his back in a warm sunny spot like he owns the place. He’s basically a four-legged, purring sunbeam.
Food? Absolutely a top priority. Greg will happily work for treats, savor every bite, and give you all the side-eye gratitude you could ask for. Toys? Yes, please. Greg enjoys gentle play with his favorite toys or mellow wrestling sessions with fellow feline friends. While he’s incredibly easygoing, he’s not the biggest fan of rambunctious animals—slow, careful introductions are a must.
Greg would thrive in a calm, quiet home where he can lounge, snack, and sunbathe in peace. He could be your one-and-only, or he could share his chill vibes with another mellow cat or a dog-savvy, gentle pup. No matter what, he brings a level of zen and subtle sass that’s impossible not to love.
Greg is currently in a loving foster home. A meet and greet can be scheduled once an online application has been submitted and approved by AFRP staff. Visit www.animalfriendsrescue.org to fill one out today!

Additional adoption info
Adoption fees help to cover the cost of the care the animal has received during their time with us, including spay/neuter, vaccines, microchipping, deworming, and flea treatment and basic foster care.
All potential adopters complete an application and are screened using a standardized series of questions by a trained adoption counselor. If the application and screening are satisfactory, a qualified adopter can complete a contract, pay the adoption fee and take the animal home.
