Hi, I’m Boomer, and I’m a big ‘ol softie, well, more like a medium softie, but you get the idea. I’m a sweet, shy, and timid guy at first, but once I feel safe with you and comfortable in your home, I’ll settle right in and open up. Although I’m already a year old, it seems like I didn’t get the chance to be a puppy and didn’t get much love when I was younger, so there is a lot I’m learning about! I’m crate-trained and sleep soundly through the night. Sometimes when I’m in my crate during the day, I like to give a little howl just so no one forgets about me. I also walk great on a leash with a harness! I’m working on housetraining, but with a schedule and positive reinforcement, I think I’ll catch on to this pretty quickly. There are two kids in my foster home and two dogs, and I do great with them, too; they’re all pretty calm and easy-going, so that makes getting along with them pretty easy! Did you see my picture? I’m told I’m a gorgeous guy with a beautiful brindle coat, an adorable underbite, and just the perfect size for any home and yard. Ooooo, a yard, I would LOVE one of those; I get the zoomies in my foster’s fenced-in yard and don’t mind the snow at all! Once I get more confidence, I’d probably like a dog park too!
