Here's what the humans have to say about me:
My name is Sheba and I'm 3 years old! My most notable traits are that I am very curious and I'm ALWAYS interested in what my human is doing. Though I am a wee bit skittish. If I hear a pop or a clang from one of those pesky washing machines or dish washers, you won't catch me around. I do not like sudden movements but I LOVE bottom scratches and my chin and cheeks are my favorite place to be pet. It takes me a long while to get comfortable with my human, but once I learn you are loving, kind, and just the wee bit playful, I won't let you leave my sight!
Pros: Very loving, enjoys pets, sometimes playful, quiet, loves attention, curious.
Cons: Very Skittish, Meeting new people takes weeks to get comfortable, will scat at the suddenness of movement
Best for quiet homes, with nurturing owners, no aggressive behaviors. Be sure to give Sheba plenty of time to learn her new place and new people.

More about this rescue
The Newnan-Coweta Humane Society has a dedication and passion to rescue shelter pets located at local kill shelters. Those rescued pets are vetted and vaccinated then placed in our foster care program where they are socialized with our own pets, taught basic manners (dogs/puppies), start crate-training method (dogs/puppies)and in short, get them ready for their forever home. They stay in our foster care system until their forever homes are found. The volunteers of NCHS are dedicated to rescuing homeless pets because there are so many pets in kill shelters that are wonderful, loving pets. They are euthanized simply because they do not have homes.
