We adopted sweet Marvel (1.5-year-old greyhound mix) at a Detroit shelter. Our 6 year old German shepherd, Thor, & Marvel are just not compatible. We did so much research before we got her & while struggling to make sure they got along, but they have gotten into multiple fights that resulted in serious injuries. After talking with MANY professionals (vets, behaviorists, trainers) they all agree that while they are great dogs, they just aren’t compatible. I want to stress that she is NOT an aggressive dog; a behaviorist confirmed this. She has never showed aggression toward us or other people, not even toward other dogs at the vet or on walks. She's potty & crate trained, sleeps in a kennel but would be happy to cuddle in bed after more training, treat motivated & will need more training, very smart, high energy, & needs lots of love & attention. She'll come with a kennel, beds, harness, leash, treats, hemp chews, calming collar, heartworm/flea/tick preventative, & more.
