Sabre is a big handsome boy with an even bigger smile. He loves to play frisbee, playing in a pond or water and being with his person(s). He would do great with an active family with older children and does well with medium to large dogs. A fenced yard where he could run, play ball or frisbee would be the perfect back yard for this big boy. Sabre has learned how to sit and is willing to be trained to be the best companion for you. He comes in at almost 60 pounds, but he still thinks he is a lap dog. Come meet Sabre and fall in love with this fun boy.To adopt this pet, please go to hsnwga.org, 'Adoption' then 'Application for Adoption', to complete an online application to be preapproved. Due to the high volume of applications received, our Adoption Coordinator will only contact the applicant that best meets the needs of the pet.

Additional adoption info
Tour/Adoption Hours:
Fridays: 3pm – 5pm
Saturdays: 11am – 2pm
During adoption hours we have volunteers available to show dogs and cats to the public. For safety/insurance reasons we can only allow those 12 years or older to go into the dog kennel wing of the shelter. We ask all visitors not to stick their fingers/hands into the dog kennels. Our adoptable dogs and cats are viewable through our website. Everyone interested in applying for a dog or cat must submit an application through our website. We receive multiple applications for each animal. Applications for particular animals are based on best fit for each animal based on each animal’s behaviors and needs. An application not being selected for a particular animal does not necessarily mean the application was denied, but just that another application was approved.
