My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I may be petite, but Im plus-sized when it comes to being a love sponge. Once I get to know you, your lap will never be cold. Petting is my favorite activity. And if youve never had a cat greet you at the door when you get home, adopt me and you will!

Call 918-264-8744 to schedule a time to meet me or fill out the application form to get pre-approved: https://garcok.org/pet-application/

I was hungry, pregnant, and homeless. Sadly, most of my babies died from starvation. I was so scared when I was rescued that I wouldnt let anyone near me at first. Through patience and love from GARC's volunteers slowly but surely my true self came out. Now, here I am, a playful, loving, confident cat.

But now its time for my forever home, and I hope youll take me in

More about this rescue

Cindy Yee Kong, author of The Eyes of the Lion, grown up in an abusive, alcoholic family while dealing with a genetic debilitating disease, she experienced first-hand what it is like to be abused and neglected. That is why she felt the strong urgency to do something about these abused, homeless cats that had been ignored and pushed aside.

She found Grace Animal Rehabilitation Center Inc. under the pressing need of rescuing and re-homing overpopulated stray cats in her community. Her love for domesticated animals began when she was comforted by a rescue kitten in her trying time..
