I call her Shoe, like the old woman who lived in one and had too many kids, because apparently she was allowed to breed indiscriminately for 10 years (at least) and was living on an open porch before I took her and 4 kits in. She is spayed now, of course, but she's partially deaf from horrifying ear infections that I cleaned up and have since resolved.
She's much calmer after having been spayed and is looking for a quiet home where she can relax and find love. She really does want to be friendly, and she sleeps on a corner of my bed when my other cat is not around.
