Gilbert is a sweet lil guy who was found wandering the streets in really cold weather. He quickly adjusts to love in your lap and belly rubs. He is young and full of hound dog energy. He already thinks of himself as a royal prince and comes with his own brand of confidence.
Because Gilbert was a stray we are not sure how he would do around children, but since he is young we suspect he would adjust.
He is highly treat motivated and attentive, so he would look forward to training time. He has quickly made friends with the other dogs in the house.
Gilbert can be quit the singer of songs to his people and likes to make sure everyone knows when he’s up in the morning. Apartment living is not going to be the best option for him. However, he is quite the gentleman when he goes around town. He can easily go to dog parks, breweries or a road trip.
Gilbert's favorite music band is the BEAGLES, he would love to listen and dance along side you. Will you be Gilbert's dance partner?

We will reach out via a text to set up a mutually agreeable time to chat about what you are looking for and your lifestyle.

Meet the Pet
We are hopeful you will connect instantly with one of our Sketchy Mutts, you might even have an opportunity to meet us out and about.
Additional adoption info
If we all agree that a current Sketchy Mutt might be a good fit, we will bring him to your home and introduce him to your dogs, cats, and human family members. If all goes well and everyone (including your animals) is in agreement, you will start a one-week (minimum) trial adoption. We want you to live day in, day out with the dog to see what it would really be like to bring him into your family. If at any point during the trial adoption you decide its not a good match, the dog goes back to his foster home.
