My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dobby was picked up as a stray by his local shelter.  He warms up slowly, but when he knows you he likes to be petted and will sit on your lap. He will keep you entertained when he  dances on his hind legs to get a treat.  He is great little dog and deserves a wonderful home so that he will never have to worry again about being safe, or where his next meal will come from.

More about this rescue

Jan's Animal Rescue was founded by Jan Grafton to help dogs go from life-threatening situations to loving homes.

Jan volunteered at the local animal shelter for 12 years. Then in 2012 she started a foster-based animal rescue.

In 2018 she started Jan’s Animal Rescue to help dogs. She has rescued and found homes for those that have been sick, injured, abused and homeless, including animals that were scheduled to be euthanized.

Jan works with local veterinarians to assure that the dogs get the medical attention they need.

She has a network of volunteers who work tirelessly to foster and care for the pets until a home can be found.
