My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Charlie is a 2.5 year old mastiff mix weighing in at a whopping 100-pounds! He LOVES people, but most of all he loves his humans. He is good with kids, but due to his size older kids would be a better fit. Charlie is good with dogs after he has a proper introduction, as he can be a rude greeter. Charlie aims to please and would do best with a strong, disciplined leader in his life. He has been enrolled in professional training for about 1.5 years, so he knows all of the basic commands and has good manners. He is leash trained, kennel trained, and house-broken. Charlie is a medium to low energy
guy - he loves hikes, walks, and playing fetch. He’s only good for about 5 throws before he wants to play hide-and-seek! He is very smart and loves to learn new tricks. He was adopted 2 years ago and has been in the same home since, but adjustment has been difficult due to cats and a horse.

More about this rescue

We are a foster based rescue located in San Antonio, Texas. Our mission is to get as many dogs out of Texas and into forever homes. We are very strict on our vetting protocols requiring each dog to be tested for heartworms, dog/puppy to be fully vetted todate, with puppies having three rounds of shots, and altered before transport or adoption. Each dog that goes on transport receives a health certificate before departure.
