Ritz is a sweet little (ok not so little) charmer who has lots of love to give! We call him "sweet peas" because he's adorable in every way…kind, gentle, loving, and playful! To add to his "purfectness", he has a beautiful, soft, long gray and white coat that is extremely easy to maintain with minimal grooming, big, beautiful loving, white-lined green eyes, and a belly that demands kisses.
While a tad shy on his initial meetings, Ritz warms up very quickly with the simple flick of a shoelace or feather toy. He's a social, "mamas" boy and would do best in a calm, happy home with another kitty or two and kitty-friendly dogs. When he's not running around playing with his foster mates and toys, he likes to lounge in your lap or beside you, purring himself to sleep. Ritz also loves to watch "kitty tv" on his sunny perch and enjoys chattering about what's outside. Ritz loves to be around you, be held for short periods, and especially loves to give you quick hugs when you come home along with the obligatory (in his mind) Eskimo kiss. Ritz isn't a huge talker, but he does love to chirp when he first sees you or when you are the bringer of food!
Ritz is an affectionate, sweet love bug who will make a purr-fect companion for some lucky family.
Ritz is neutered, vaccinated, FELV tested, dewormed, microchipped, eats wet and dry food, and is litterbox perfect.
He currently lives with his foster family in Sacramento.

NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone's best interests!
Purebreds Plus cat Rescue (purebredsplus.org), serving Northern California, the San Francisco Bay Area, Oregon, and Northern Nevada, is dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and rehoming of purebred cats, kittens and other exceptional felines. We are a 501 (c)3 non-profit rescue group. Most of our beautiful felines come from Northern California Animal Shelters. One of our goals is to keep purebred cats from ever ending up in a shelter. We are happy to help you if you need to rehome your purebred cat. Often, we can offer advice if your cat is having behavioral problems, and you may end up keeping the cat. We do NOT ship cats. We will place cats out of area but you must arrange to come and meet your new friend in person.
