My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Brook, a 1 year old Brindle Terrier is ready for adoption! Brook is fully vetted, UTD on all vaccines, & microchipped. Brook was a rescue pull from the Adams County Dog & Kennel last month after being picked up by the Dog Warden back in December. She was skin & bones, covered with fleas & ticks. But look at her now! This girl is super lovable & loves to play. She has truly gained her trust in humans again. Brook does well & plays well with other dogs, cats, & children. She would be a perfect addition to any family. With her gorgeous brindle coat and her adorable face, Brook is one beautiful dog. She is house broken & does great on a leash. Brook is ready to be adopted. If you would be interested in giving me a furever home, please contact The Humane Society of Adams County, Inc. at (937) 544-8585 to set up a time to come meet me and fill out an adoption application!

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Our adoption process is made up of two parts. Upon a decision to adopt an animal we require an application for adoption that asks questions such as housing and veterinary references. We then check references and may require a home visit. Upon approval you will fill out a contract for adoption and pay the adoption fees. Adoption fees are based on age and vetting required.
