My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Say hello to Mika. Mika has been in our care since April of 2023. She arrived with her 4 adorable kittens, who were all adopted a very long time ago. They are 2 years old now.

Mika is 4.5 years old. She is a sweet girl, but likes to giver her love on her terms. She is not big on being held, and can get overstimulated easily. Mika would do well in a home where she can be an independent lady. If you travel, you won't have to worry about this girl! She likes her space and personal time. She will also come curl up on your lap when you come home, she just prefers to do it on her own terms!

Mika is also a goofy girl that loves to play with toys and cocks her head when you talk to her...she's kind of like a puppy! She loves finding boxes and sunny patches to lay and roll around in.

Mika is a sweet girl that needs to find a special, loving, cat-savvy and understanding person... Someone who has owner cats before and can read their body language.

Mika is currently being housed at the Angel of Hope shelter. If you would like to meet her, please fill out an adoption application first, and a meet and greet will be set up!

More about this rescue

Angel of Hope Animal Rescue works with cats and dogs from animal controls and shelters. Prior to adoption pets are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccines, cats are tested for feline leukemia, and dogs are tested for heart worm. At adoption we can help you determine if the pet is a good fit for your home and family. We will share their personalities and quirks with you to help you decide.
