Jasmine is the nice mix of affectionate and independent. For her trusted people she is friendly: face rubs, gives kitty kisses, purrs as soon as she is brushed or petted, and follows you around the house. Jasmine jumps into your lap and stays as long as you keep petting. Jasmine tolerates brief times of being held. She knows her name and come when called. She gets along with some female cats, hasn’t met dogs, is shy-avoidant of strangers and men.
Jasmine would be best with kids over age seven. This 3 color female was born in 2010 and given up by the past owner . Jasmine might do fine as an only cat or could be adopted with Querida (born 4/2021), that she likes. Jasmine properly uses her litterbox.
This cat and others are available at Cat Tales Rescue. Cats have been vet checked, spayed/neutered, wormed, tested for FIV/FeLV, have distemper and rabies shots. Adoption fees are $200+tax and for cats age 6+ the fee is $175+tax. For Adopters over age 65 and for cats over 10yrs, the fee is $50. If you are gone 7 or more hours a day, please consider adopting two cats, as one cat usually gets bored. Two cats are easier to care for than one (they self-entertain while you are at work), and they are emotionally healthier (don’t get lonely and bored).

Cat Tales is a tax deductable, non-profit, 501c3 volunteer run organization. All donations help the cats; there are no paid staff. Donations can be sent to the treasurer at: 1750 Co. Rd. 92, Minnetrista, Mn 55359. Your help would be greatly appreciated. Please care.
Their adoption process

Submit Application
Call 612-202-9492 to have an adoption application emailed to you. Or, you'll receive one at the foster home when you visit the cat.
2.
Meet the Pet
Call to make an appointment with the foster home. All pets are at foster homes In the W, SW and S Mpls. suburbs.
3.
Approve Application
Your application will be reviewed. References checked. If you submit it prior to visiting the cat, it is possible to adopt the day you visit
4.
Sign Adoption Contract
Sign contract. You receive a folder with all pertinent medical paperwork, Micro ID, rabies tag, etc.
5.
Pay Fee
Cats under age 6 are $200+tx. Cats age 6+ are $175+tx.
Special breeds $250+tx. Cats age 10+ are $50 only for adopters age 65+.
6.
Take the Pet Home
Bring a pet carrier with a towel inside. Please provide a donation to help defray the costs spent that are NOT covered by the adoption fee.

We would welcome new volunteer foster homes. All medical costs for foster cats are covered by donations to CTR. As we get enough funding, we supply cat food. We do not hold adoption days.
