PLEASE NOTE, his photo was taken before his leg amputation surgery

Charlie was turned into the South LA City shelter with some nerve damage on his front left leg. After consulting with an orthopedic and our primary vet, it was determined that the leg should be amputated for Charlie since he didn’t have full use of the leg.

Charlie had his surgery on 1/15 and is doing great. He’s a very sweet and submissive boy who is pretty shy, but he’s really coming out of his shell in his foster home. Treats go a long way with him too! Charlie is a 3 year old, 22 lb Spaniel mix with a handsome medium coat. He will do best in a home on the lower key side. He is dog and cat friendly and another animal in his home is a plus, but not a must.

Charlie's adoption fee is $350 and includes his neuter, microchip, vaccines current, deworming and flea treatment. Apply at www.lovebugsrescue.org
