Hiya! My name is Dixie and I am a beautiful 5-year old female German Shepherd looking for an active and loving home. I am located near Medina, Tennessee and am available for transport to my forever home.
I am such a sweet and loving girl. I have a medium energy level, love to play and explore in the backyard, but I really love to cuddle up on the couch. I am house & kennel trained and have nice manners too!
I am KID & large dog friendly! I've been in a home with younger children so if you have some, with proper introductions, we should get along just fine.
I know multiple commands (sit, come, down, shake, leave it, kennel up) and I walk nicely on a leash. Even tho I have nice manners, I would benefit from an obedience training refresher. This will help us bond together & be so much fun!

***IMPORTANT ADOPTION INFORMATION***
-ALL dogs are fostered in TENNESSEE unless otherwise noted
-We do transport dogs to the east coast; a transport fee will apply
-All dogs are up-to-date on vaccinations, heart-worm testing, monthly preventatives, & are spayed or neutered
-Puppies under 6-months of age will require a SPAY/NEUTER CONTRACT, a portion of the adoption fee will be refunded upon documentation of the spay/neuter
-An application must be submitted before scheduling an appointment to meet a dog
-Dogs are introduced to prospective adopters BY APPOINTMENT ONLY
-Due to the high volume of emails we receive, first priority will be given to those with submitted applications
-All rescue work is done by dedicated volunteers, please be respectful of their time
-Not able to adopt? Consider FOSTERING one of our wonderful dogs!
