My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Chiquita is a 2 year old 6 1/2 lb Chihuahua. She came to us very thin, terrified & defensive but has blossomed into a silly, happy girl.

She is a little unsocialized so new things can be scary but she is also brave and as we have seen is very capable of overcoming her fears. She will need an adopter who will be patient & nurturing while she adjusts to a new environment.

Chiquita is microchipped, current on vaccinations & spayed. She is not fully housebroken but we have been working hard on it & does great going out every 2 hours. She is dog friendly but prefers the company of small dogs.

In order for Chiquita to continue to blossom, her new home will need to meet the following requirements;

*No children under the age of 12 living in the home. Visiting younger children are fine
*Schedule that can accommodate her going out potty frequently
*No dogs over 20lbs
*Secure, fenced yard for her safety
