Meet Nana, this young adult dog is a sweet and loving girl who gets along with everyone! Nana does even better when you give her a small and patient introduction to whoever she's about to meet. She loves being velcro to her person
She was rescued and put into the foster program in December after she had given birth to a litter of 7 puppies (who are also up for adoption, yay!).
Nana prefers men to women but doesn't care so long as she is the center of attention and getting lots of it!
Nana has a very cute kink her tail that her puppies inherited and is a beautiful Chihuahua Terrier mix. Her foster believes she is more Miniature Pinscher and Manchester terrier mix as well as Chihuahua, what an interesting combination!
Nana is working on her spring bod after giving birth and loves to go on long walks.

Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX)
Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel
Charge will be added)

Adoptions applications are checked by contacting references and veterinarians of those with pets to ensure our pups go to the best homes possible. We work hard to place dogs into the right families, but sometimes we realize the fit isn't quite working out for the adopter or the pet..

If an adoption does not work out and we have room to take the dog back into the rescue, we will. However, the sheer number of needy animals in TX usually means we become full quickly after the dog is adopted. So, in those cases we will post the animal locally, and help the adopter screen applicants and facilitate finding another adoptive home for the pet in your area.

We are a TEXAS based rescue who transport regularly to this area. Our dogs are in TEXAS and will be transported to you if you adopt from us.

Our pets are posted on our website, and most live in homes with their fosters. We live with our foster dogs to get to know them in a home setting and to let them know that life can be good away from the streets.

We work to correct poor behaviors, teach manners and observe each dogs particular quirks and personalities so we can give accurate observations of the dogs you are interested in.

We know that dogs will sometimes behave differently with different people but we can give you our impressions of our pups and situations they have been in.
