His owner is in an Indy Hospital with congestive heart failure and her medical care team has urged her to put their 10 year old male indoor cat up for adoption.
He is a super loving indoor kitty. He has been updated on his vaccines and is neutered. The clinic said he was a very nice kitty. He hasn't been exposed to dogs.
Please reach out to the owners who are very sad to part with him; they would like updates from time to time. His adoption fee will be donated to an animal rescue.

The adoption fee is $50 dollars for any cat/kitten under 5 yrs of age The fee for kitties over 5 yrs of age is $40 dollars We do require a contract to be signed, note/copy of lease from landlord if you rent to make sure pets are allowed If you are interested in a special needs cat/kitten that has to have special nursing or care, the caretaker will also have to talk to your vet to make sure you can care for the cat/kitten

Go meet their pets
Call the shelter house to get info on where the kitties are being fostered:317-925-7001.
Since we deal mainly with special need cats, rarely do we have kittens readily available for adoption

More about this rescue
Cats Haven started nearly 30 yrs ago because there was a need for special needs kitties or senior cats to have a place to go to
We are a 502c3 organization
All kitties in our care are tested for felv/fiv, vaccinated, given any vet care they may need ie: a broken leg fixed, etc before being offered for adoption. Also, the cats/kittens are spayed or neutered before they go up for adoption
We have normal (as normal as a kitty can be) as well as the special need cat/kitten They live in a home environment: in foster homes or at the main shelter house This way we can tell you if the cat will tolerate dogs, other cats, is loving or shy
