My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Are you ready for a bundle of energy and love in your life? Look no further than Kyra! This stunning girl is a true delight to be around, with her playful spirit and boundless enthusiasm. Kyra's foster describes her as a potential agility superstar - she's got the moves, the speed, and the softest, most beautiful coat you've ever seen! Kyra thrives on attention and loves being around people. She's a smart cookie, eager to learn and please. With a bit of training and a consistent routine, she'll be the perfect companion for any adventure-loving family. While she does well in her kennel, she would benefit from obedience classes to help her reach her full potential. One thing to note about Kyra is her determination - she's got a knack for jumping fences! So, it's important that her future family is committed to keeping her safe and secure, either with a suitable fence or on a leash whenever she's outside. But don't let that deter you - Kyra's determination to find her forever family is unmatched! If you're ready to welcome this spirited and fun-loving girl into your home, don't hesitate to submit an adoption application and schedule a meet and greet with Kyra. She's eagerly waiting to bring joy and adventure into your life!

More about this shelter

Animals Are Our Mission

Over 1,100 animals pass through our doors every year. Did you know that the average cost to get our animals ready to be adoptable is roughly $350 per animal? That is because we require our adoptables to be spayed/neutered and fully vaccinated before adopting out.

Population control and disease management are issues in our community that we are working hard to resolve. Your donations help ensure we can continue our mission.

We have an amazing team of hard working staff caring for our animals 7 days a week. They are supported by a group of engaged board members that are focused on bettering our organization.
