My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Greta!
Are you looking for a furry companion who adores people as much as Greta does? Look no further!
Greta is a friendly female dog who thrives on human interaction. She loves nothing more than having friends by her side for cuddles and playtime. Greta's affectionate nature makes her an ideal family pet, especially for households with children!

She enjoys playing with toys and engaging in doggy enrichment activities to keep her mind sharp and her tail wagging! One of Greta's favorite pastimes is going on walks, and she excels at walking on a leash. Whether it's a leisurely stroll around the neighborhood or a family hike in the great outdoors, Greta is always up for an adventure!
Not only is Greta great with people, but she also gets along well with other dogs. She would love to have a doggy buddy to romp around with and keep her company!
It's important to note that Greta is a vocal lady who expresses herself when she's happy or upset. While her expressive nature adds to her charm, it's something to consider, especially if you live in an apartment where noise levels may be a concern.

If you're ready to welcome a loving and sociable companion into your home, Greta could be the perfect match for you!

More about this shelter

Animals Are Our Mission

Over 1,100 animals pass through our doors every year. Did you know that the average cost to get our animals ready to be adoptable is roughly $350 per animal? That is because we require our adoptables to be spayed/neutered and fully vaccinated before adopting out.

Population control and disease management are issues in our community that we are working hard to resolve. Your donations help ensure we can continue our mission.

We have an amazing team of hard working staff caring for our animals 7 days a week. They are supported by a group of engaged board members that are focused on bettering our organization.
