Female, 12 years old (estimated), 10 pounds
This sweet little flower can be a bit shy when first meeting her, but don't let that fool you! She'll really blossom once she bonds with you and realized you can give her the love and snuggles she is searching for. When Lavender blooms and opens up to people, that's when you see her real personality shine through, a personality that loves giving kisses, getting pets, and receiving just as much love as she loves to give.
Lavender can be a bit over-enthusiastic when meeting other dogs at times, which some pups may not take a liking to. But with a mellow companion that doesn't mind Lavender in their 'bubble' she'd be a great match for the right doggy sibling! We have not yet seen Lavender interact with cats, but as far as kids go, she would do best in a home without them as she can sometimes use her mouth to express displeasure at times.
This little lady came to us from Santa Cruz County Animal Services so we could address her medical needs.
