My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Looks like: West Highland Terrier mix
Female, 7 years old (estimated), 18 pounds

Sweet, sweet Winter (aka Winny) is about as cute as they come! This darling girl loves meeting new people, ideally with a kiss. She enjoys going for walks, playing with doggie friends, and getting zoomies to show how excited she is about life! We would love to find that special home that can delight in this little girl's sweet nature. She isn't the biggest fan of kitties and we aren't quite sure how she is with children.

Miss Winny has Addison's disease, where her adrenal glands don't produce enough cortisol, so she is on medication and some supplements are added to her food to help her feel her best. She also needs a shot once a month that we will take care of at our clinic in Monterey.

Winny's senior guardian is moving into assisted living and can't continue caring for her. We're grateful we can be here to support Winny in this tough time and help her find that loving forever landing spot!
