My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Imagine the sweetest friend you could ever have—her name is Winnie, but her friends lovingly call her "Winnifred" or simply "Freddy." At just 1.5 years old, Winnie has already perfected the art of spreading warmth and joy. This little cuddle queen adores nothing more than curling up beside you, resting her soft, gentle paws on your lap as if to say, “You’re my favorite person.” And if you’re lucky, she’ll give you her special “hold hands” trick, reaching out to clasp your hand in hers with pure trust and love.

Winnie has a gift for melting hearts, whether it’s adults, children, or her fellow doggie friends. She’s gentle with kids, treating each moment with them as precious as a paw-held handshake. With other dogs, Winnie’s playful and social, relishing every playdate and adventure. Imagine weekends full of laughter as she frolics in the yard, tail wagging, making memories with her new family.

Ready to meet your new best friend? Winnie is at the Animal Farm Foundation, eager to bring joy, love, and a lifetime of cuddles to her new family. Don’t miss the chance to invite this beautiful girl into your heart and home! 🐾❤️

More about this rescue

Animal Farm Foundation gets to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.

Located in Dutchess County NY, AFF has been working nationally to secure equal treatment and opportunity for “pit bull” dogs since 1985.

OUR ORGANIZATION
Animal Farm Foundation, Inc., a not-for-profit corporation, has been rescuing and re-homing animals, as well as making grants to other humane organizations, since the mid-1980's.

We currently dedicate our resources to securing equal treatment and opportunity for "pit bull" dogs. Whether the dog is called a "pit bull" because of a documented pedigree, or merely on the basis of physical appearance, recognizing that these dogs are individuals for whom we are responsible is an integral step toward a compassionate future for all dogs.
