Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hoagie is a handsome and playful, 11-month-old, 27-pound, medium-sized male Labradoodle looking for a loving guardian.
Hoagie is fabulous with other dogs! He’s a super-snuggler with people as well. He is well-trained and knows all his basic commands.
Hoagie was relinquished to Friends of Petraits Rescue because he was too mouthy and puppy-ish with the five year old child in the home. But he’s living in a foster home with 10 and 12-year-old kids and he’s great!
He’s looking for someone to take him into their home and heart. He is super smart and loving and would do great in a positive reinforcement training class to help him bond with his new family. He needs daily mental and physical exercise.
He is housebroken and crate-trained.
Hoagie is extremely healthy, neutered, dewormed, and vaccinated for rabies, bordetella, leptospirosis, and distemper. He’s heartworm-tested and on monthly heartworm, micro-chipped, and flea and tick prevenative.
His adoption fee of $1,500 benefits the Friends of Petraits Rescue. To meet and possibly adopt Hoagie, please fill out an adoption application at https://friendsofpetraits.com/dog-adoption-application/ and follow up to meet him by e-mailing friendsofpetraits@gmail.com
He’s currently being fostered in Chicago’s Andersonville neighborhood.
