Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Oakley is an adventurous three year old lab/husky mix, she loves hiking and can be off leash. Oakley loves people, other dogs and has been with cats. Oakley's owners have made the difficult decision to rehome her so that she can have a lifestyle more suited to her needs as better described in the comments below:
"We are looking to rehome Oakley because we do not know when we will be able to move out of our apartment. Oakley needs to be in a home where she can run freely for as long as she wants. Being couped up in the apartment all day is not fair to her and she deserves to be somewhere open and free."
"Oakley has high energy when playing but can definitely settle once inside. Oakley loves to play fetch in the water and loves the water in general. She is the best hiking buddy and will check in with you often while hiking. She is a great security when it comes to people knocking on the door. She loves belly rubs and cuddles. Oakley has not yet been around children for extended periods of time. She does know how to be gently when told to be. When she is able to be outside for long periods of time, she will keep watch and protect the area and those around her."
Oakley is located near Cashmere, WA. Applications submitted at Okandogs.org.
