Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi there! My name is Pearl, and I'm here to tell you about myself. You can see from my closeup what beautiful, glossy black fur and pretty eyes I have. What you can't see is that I am solid black other than a few white hairs on my chest, nor can you tell how bunny soft my fur is. I'm shy at first but warm up quickly for chin scratches. I liked to sleep on the bed next to my prior mom and foster mom. My foster mom loved me and had hoped to be able to keep me, but she is allergic to cats and when her allergies got bad, she knew that she had to give me up. I've been around other cats but not dogs or young children. I'd love for you to come by Safe Place to meet me and see what a wonderful young lady I am. I'm sure you'll fall in love with my beautiful looks and sweet nature and want to take me home with you. Just fill out an adoption application and someone from Safe Place will call you and set up a meeting!

Please check out our available pets and contact us to let us know which one(s) interest you. We'll arrange a site visit to your home and a meet-and-greet with your prospective pet once we have had a phone chat to determine if our rescue pet is a good fit for you and you for him/her. If you and the pet decide it's true love, we'll have you fill out an adoption contract and ask for an adoption donation (rather than a fee) of $100 per cat and $200 per dog. A certificate of adoption is mailed to you once the process is complete.
