My name is Newton!

Hi there, I’m Newton—a mellow red tabby with a soft heart and an easygoing soul. I’m a real sweetheart, if I do say so myself. I’ve got this affectionate, go-with-the-flow personality that makes it easy for me to get along with just about everyone—humans, other cats… I’m all about good company and good vibes.

I love being part of the action, though I’m more of a quiet observer than the center of attention. You’ll usually find me lounging nearby, watching the world go by (or the TV—I really do enjoy a good show). I especially love sunbathing by the window, soaking up the rays while keeping an eye on the neighborhood birds and squirrels. Being held and loved on? That’s one of my favorite things. I’ll melt right into your arms.

The care team here at Sheltering Hands has a special place in their hearts for me—they say I’m one of their favorites. And while that means a lot to me, I know what I really need is a forever home of my own. Honestly, I’m not sure why I haven’t been adopted yet. I’m a really great cat—sweet, calm, and full of love just waiting to be shared.
