My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Look at Wilma's ears! How adorable! Wilma is a playful puppy that loves chew toys, walks great on a leash, and is crate trained. She is learning to sit and perfecting her potty training. Wilma loves snuggling and has to be touching you! This sweet girl loves the warm weather and watching birds out the window. Make Wilma a part of your family!

Wilma is six months old.

Location: Foster home

The adoption fee for puppies under 7 months old is $300. All pets are microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and will be altered prior to adoption. If you are interested in meeting Wilma, please complete an adoption application on our website or call the shelter to schedule an appointment.

More about this shelter

We promote the humane care of all abandoned and stray animals in our community. We are a no-kill shelter. All of our pets leave the shelter for their forever homes micro-chipped, up to date on vaccines, and altered.

Founded in 2002, Helping Strays is a non-profit 501(c)(3) charitable organization supported entirely by donations.

Our lucky animals receive appropriate medical care, are featured on the Helping Strays website "adoption list" and are taken to several adoption events every month in an attempt to find permanent, loving homes.
