How this pet arrived:
This pet was brought in by our Humane Law Enforcement team. /p>

At SDHS:
This pet has been vaccinated, microchipped and spayed/neutered. This pet is now ready for their new home!

Why this pet is the one for you:
Meet Naf Naf! Our HLE team brought him in so he is getting comfortable with all the new people though he has been very nervous we see he is still food motivated in care. Some dogs who are a bit more anxious tend to benefit from homes with lots of treats, low activity, and the ability to go at your new friend's pace. He will need a kind and quiet emotional support human to go at his pace help learn the world is not scary but instead so fun! If you'd like to learn more about Naf Naf and are ready to spoil them with some yummy food, a calm home, and teaching them to not be scared making his way out and about, give a call to the number listed above!

More about this shelter

San Diego Humane Society, an open-admission shelter, is creating a more humane world by inspiring compassion and advancing the welfare of animals and people. Our lifesaving safety net has helped San Diego become the largest city in the U.S. to keep healthy and treatable shelter animals from being euthanized. We are a private, independent, nonprofit organization that is not affiliated with any other humane society or society for the prevention of cruelty to animals.

With campuses in El Cajon, Escondido, Oceanside, Ramona and San Diego, we provide animal services for 14 cities within San Diego County. We not only care for 50,000 animals in our communities but also share the expertise we have gained through our innovative programs with shelters nationwide so they can save more lives in their communities.

While our influence is expanding nationally, our top priority is meeting the needs of San Diego. We provide exceptional care for all animals through world-class veterinary medicine, shelter and most of all: love.
