My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, my name is Wally! When I first got to my foster Mom's house, I was really scared and jumpy. After some couch time and cuddles, with my foster family, I am really so happy! I am not nearly as scared and jumpy but if you bring out that vacuum sucker machine, DEUCES, I am out!!
I love laying on my peeps and having them give me belly rubs and just staring into their eyes to let them know how much I love them!!
I love toys especially stuffed ones I can rip apart and pull out the squeaker and stuffing piece by piece! I also love my foster fur sister and brother.
My bro, Dexter, and I sleep together, and we like to see which one of us can keep the toy! My sis, Moxie, is a stick in the mud and gets on me if I step out of line! Sometimes, she is cool when we play tug of war!
I am ready for my forever family; my foster family helped me so much!

Their adoption process

1.
Submit Application

• 21 years of age • Current pets must be spayed/neutered, UTD on annual exams, heartworm tests, vaccines & consistent heartworm prevention.

2.
Interview

We will have a volunteer call personal and vet references. We will interview applicant if all information provided is accurate.

3.
Home Check

We do in home visit checks or via video chat. Video Chat If adopter lives out of our area, if a volunteer Is unavailable.

Or we help arrange private (or volunteer) transport for your pet if adopter isn’t in our local area.

Additional adoption info

We are all volunteers, but we try to have all applications processed in 7 business days.. If you are approved, then we will send you an adoption contract and transport information. Payment must be made once contract is finalized.
We try to answer all inquiries. If you are interested in a pet the best way to meet that pet is FILL OUT AN APPLICATION. Since we are all volunteers, applicants must be approved before a meet/greet.

Team Memphis Rescue & Support is an all volunteer 501C3 non-profit all-breed rescue group that helps abandoned, neglected and lost pets. We are intensely devoted to helping pets find their forever home.

Team Memphis Rescue & Support provides assistance to Team Memphis Rescue & Support approved rescues by transporting pets from shelters, boarding facilities, Veterinary clinics and foster homes. We help evaluate temperaments of pets and network to find foster homes. Animal Rescue is an ongoing battle. We are stronger when we stand together.

Team Memphis Rescue & Support provides medical care, including vaccinations, microchip and spay/neuter for all our adoptable pets. With years of experience, our goal is to find the perfect fit for each dog as well as the best pet for your family.
