Bucky's owners said he will thrive under the care of an energetic and loving family. He'll fit right in because he is active and sociable. He was given up because he was not allowed to live where his family moved. He is a high-energy older pup who likes running, tugging, walks, chase, and wrestling. He weighs 27 pounds and likes to lead on a leash except when he prefers to jump. It just might be his favorite thing to do. If he runs away while off leash, he'll come back if you call him. He understands the sit and no commands. He is still working on house training and will bark or scratch on the door when he needs to go out. He spent his days either freely roaming the house or outside. He does not like kennels. He is playful and jumpy with kids of all ages. He is easygoing and playful with dogs and playful with cats. He enjoys rough housing with all of them. He behaves well with meeting dogs during walks and at the dog park. He got into a bit of trouble for jumping and digging. He loves being petted. Pet Adoption Fees
CAP adoption fees include a variety of services - age-appropriate vaccinations, canine heartworm, and feline leukemia tests, spaying/neutering, deworming treatment, microchipping to name a few - the total value of which exceeds $450. These minimal adoption fees cover only part of each animal's stay at our shelter - please help us keep adoption fees low while maintaining the high quality of care for the animals in our charge by donating and/or volunteering.

A second dog or puppy, adopted within 30 days of the first adoption receives a $20 discount.
