Nasa is just a growing puppy in need of guidance and training. He is a social butterfly who loves everyone he meets. When he's not sleeping at your side, enjoying being close, he'll sneak up behind you and pull on your pants legs. If won't be a problem if you just wear shorts. He weighs 31 pounds and plans to be a big boy someday. He is jam packed full of energy and mischief. He likes running, walks, tugging, and toys. He also like jumping and chewing. He doesn't understand leash walking yet but he won't run away if off leash. He has spent most of his life outside so he doesn't know about house training yet. He is easygoing, friendly, playful, and tolerant with other dogs. He loves playing with other dogs and has lots of experience. He spent a few days around children as young as six in a recent adopter's home and is friendly with kids. He was returned because he needs training. He is affectionate and likes sitting on a lap and being petted. He is curious, sweet, and lovable. Please offer Nasa the home and family he needs. (tw 4/24/2024)

Pet Adoption Fees
CAP adoption fees include a variety of services - age-appropriate vaccinations, canine heartworm, and feline leukemia tests, spaying/neutering, deworming treatment, microchipping to name a few - the total value of which exceeds $450. These minimal adoption fees cover only part of each animal's stay at our shelter - please help us keep adoption fees low while maintaining the high quality of care for the animals in our charge by donating and/or volunteering.

CAP is proud to announce that through life-saving adoption and transfer programs and a lot of hard work, we have maintained a placement rate of over 93% for all homeless pets surrendered to our shelter in 2021. In 2021, CAP provided care for 10,260 animals; this includes animals surrendered by the public and transferred in from animal control agencies and rescue groups, animals already in the shelter and foster care program, feral cats trapped/neutered/returned and animals receiving vaccinations and other treatments in our low-cost vaccination clinic, The Cornelius Clinic.
