Hi my name is Pork Chop. I wish I had a best friend named Bacon. Lol that is just a taste of my dad joke style. I'm not that old at 2 years old but I have seen a lot of sorrow in my 2.5 years. I came from a hoarding situation with a lot of other dogs. It can be pretty scary fighting for very limited resources for all of your life. Some of the other dogs were friends and others would want to fight for what little we had. I finally feel safe here at the shelter and finally after a lot of weeks the volunteers are starting to see my real personality. My new friends really seem to like me and they are always encouraging me. I like it here a lot. I feel safe and loved for the first time ever. Living here has given me the courage to dream about what it would be like to have a family of my own. I can't wait to find out about a real home with a real family. Maybe that family could be you...Adopt from MCAS All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, heartworm tested (and treated if positive), microchipped, and current on all vaccinations.
We are open 7 days a week 12pm to 5pm for adoptions, no appointment necessary!
