Hi my name is Rocco (2 years old) and I'm one of the new guys around here. I have already made new friends with the volunteers. This isn't a bad place. I was really scared when my family moved out of our old house and left me behind to take care of myself. Let me tell you having a family is way better than not having a family. So if you would like to be my new family then please come in right away and get me. If you take me home you get me AND my adorable ears. I can't wait to meet you - xoxo Rocco...Adopt from MCAS
All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, heartworm tested (and treated if positive), microchipped, and current on all vaccinations.

We are open 7 days a week 12pm to 5pm for adoptions, no appointment necessary!

1.
Visit the Facility and Find a Pet

Potential adopters are able to view pets that are available for adoption and have supervised meetings.

2.
Submit Application

Once a person decides which pet they are interested in, we begin the application process.

3.
Meet the Pet

Once approved, we require a meet & greet with any other pets in the homes, children, etc.

4.
Sign Adoption Contract

Adoption paperwork is completed after there is an approved application & successful meet and greet.

5.
Pay Fee

Dogs=$75.00, Cats= $50.00

6.
Take the Pet Home

After paperwork is completed and fees are paid, adopters are free to leave with their new pets.

The Adoption Center provides pet adoption services for the public. All adoptable pets are spayed/ neutered and have received all applicable vaccinations, flea/tick preventative, deworming, and have been tested for heartworms (dogs). If you are interested in adoption, please contact the Adoption Center at 931-375-1402.

Maury County/ Columbia Animal Services Center provides comprehensive animal care and control services for residents of Maury County. The Animal Services Center facility houses the Adoption Center, Intake Center, shelter for stray and unwanted pets, the Animal Control Division, and a veterinary clinic for shelter animals.
