My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

🐾KAYCEE🐾
***Please read my full bio to make sure I am a good fit for your home.
***An application must be submitted prior to a meet and greet. Application link is below. (Indoor-only, no declawing, needs a playmate, Utah residents only, 21+.)

Hey there, folks! The name's Kaycee, and let me tell you, I'm a burst of energy waiting to light up your life!

First things first, I've got energy for days. Seriously, I'm like the feline version of the Energizer Bunny. Whether it's chasing after toys, zooming around the house, or staging daring climbs up the tallest cat trees, I'm always on the move. If you're looking for a companion to keep up with your active lifestyle, I'm your guy! Now, when it comes to playtime, I'm all in. Give me a feather toy or a crinkly ball, and I'll show you some acrobatic moves that'll leave you speechless. Climbing is my jam too! The higher, the better. I'll conquer any obstacle in my path with grace and agility.

But it's not just physical activity that gets me going. Oh no, I've got quite the gift of gab too! I love to chat with my humans, whether it's meowing a greeting when you walk through the door or engaging in a full-blown conversation about my day. I'm a social kitty who thrives on interaction. Speaking of hanging out, I'm all about spending quality time with my humans. Whether it's lounging on the couch watching TV or keeping you company while you work, I'll be right there by your side, soaking up all the love and attention you have to offer.

Now, here's the thing – I've got some special dietary needs. I need to be on a Urinary Tract Diet to keep me healthy and happy. But don't worry, it's nothing major! Just a little extra care to ensure I'm in tip-top shape.

** I MUST go to a home with another young, playful cat. (Or adopt a 2nd kitty with me for ½ the adoption fee!) I need an indoor-only home with plenty of room to run around, cat trees to climb on and toys to play with. I need family who will give me lots of love, attention and playtime. **

I do great with other cats after proper introductions. I do well with gentle, older children and I am litter box trained.

So, if you're ready to add a bundle of energy, playfulness, and love to your life, look no further than yours truly, Kaycee! Let's embark on this adventure together – I promise it'll be a wild ride! 🐾

More about this rescue

Friends of Community-Cats Rescue is a 501c3 non-profit organization, with an incredible team of volunteers, dedicated to rescuing and saving the lives of cats and kittens whom are abandoned, neglected, sick, injured, unwanted or would otherwise be euthanized in shelters. We work with multiple shelters in Utah and are part of the Best Friends Animal Society Coalition aiming to make Utah a no-kill state.
We take in the abandoned, abused, unwanted, neglected, geriatric and neonatal, sick and injured and cats with severe behavioral problems. We get the cats medical care, rehabilitation and bring them back to health and prepare them for adoption. We have a great adoption program in which we spay/neuter, vaccinate and microchip the cats and kittens before placing them into loving, adoptive homes.
We participate in Trap-Neuter-Return for community cats. We provide food, shelters and medical care for more than 100 community cats daily. We also assist low income families with medical care and food for their animals.
We are 100% volunteer and foster based and rely on donations from the public to keep our organization running. We mostly focus on cats, however we do help other animals as well, such as dogs, small animals and livestock.
Our director, Kali Cristaudo, founded this organization in 2012. Since then, we have grown so much, formed an incredible team of volunteers and have saved thousands of lives and we will continue to save more and more lives every year.
