My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This handsome good boy is Luke! Luke was an unclaimed stray, and unfortunately likely came from a not-so-great situation. He is very underweight and his nails are so long he walked funny. Due to that, we are VERY happy Luke found his way to Catkins!

Luke is a 2-3 year old hound, possibly a mix, but this boy is hound through and through. He has hound energy and the voice to match! Along with that, he has a huge heart and is super people and dog friendly. He will be available for adoption later next week after his vet appointment for neuter.

We are really looking forward to seeing Luke find a family that loves and cares for him like he deserves. He loves to play fetch and with toys, and just being with people. Everyone who meets Luke says 'What a nice boy!' He ain't nothin but a hound dog, but a good hound he is!

Luke will be available for meet and greets next week, but you're welcome to submit an application now for review. His new family should be active and ready for hound energy and adventures. Luke would probably do best with another dog and a nice yard to run in. We have not tested him with cats.
