My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Scotty is a 1.5 years old 4.9 pound yorkie boy who is being fostered near Foley, Alabama. He can only be adopted within 150 miles of his foster home.

Update Bio 1/30/24: Scotty may be little but he has a big personality! Scotty has been in his foster home for a few days now and he has already settled in and made himself at home. He is very loving and loves attention and is not afraid to play with his larger 11 pound foster brother. Scotty weighs only 5 pounds and can hold his own. He is 15 months old and will go potty outside but needs to go out frequently. He will also use pee pads. Toilet training is a work in progress.

Scotty would do well with someone that has plenty of time to give him attention. He is not a picky eater and loves treats. He is a spirited little guy that loves tummy rubs. He is neutered but he is not crate trained. He is not fond of having his nails cut and gets a bit anxious in unknown situations. But holding him immediately puts him at ease. He is definitely a people person. The doctor cleared him with perfect health and is currently up to date on immunizations. When foster mom comes home he is the happiest little guy. He loves people and responds so well to love and caring. As we spend more time together we will update his information. He is truly a little sweetheart. Because of Scotty’s small size he is not available to a family with children under 12 years old. Scotty is a young dog who needs a family that will give him a lifetime commitment of a forever home for the rest if his life.
